Violin/Johann Georg Kessler violin

Obviously this instrument was not imported by Bruno and Sons or made by the Johann Georg Kessler from the 1700's since it says "Made in West Germany".  That all by itself dates the instrument between 1949-1990. These are commercial student violins that typically are worth a few hundred dollars.

I can answer questions about violin and guitar making and restoration. I will not answer questions about playing these instruments, because I am a maker, not a player.

I was trained in violin making in Germany and have been working at this craft for sixty years.
