Subject: VB code
Question I have sent you a question about VB and you said that it is not VB.
I think that the code is VB script then.
I dont know how to tell the difference between VBA, VB, VB.net and VBScript. Do you know how?
I am need to find out the user logon in windows, and print
it or save in a variable.
I found that I can use environment.userName property but that does not seem to work.
Please help I am very confused
Answer the windows logon details are available in the registry and if you are at least an inter level programmer then you could use VB to get this.
you may be confused but this cannot be removed by asking a question. you need to delve deep into the subject.
registry is well left alone
