Question
Hi Ravina;

Can you tell me how to bring up a custom dialog box,(a form to get info from the user), without having the curser lose focus from it's text box on the underlying form?

When I use an inputbox, all is ok, but I wish to use my own form.

Thank You, Peter Shannon.

Answer
in vb, the moment you ask for user input, the focus shifts to that control(input box, or msgbox or whatever it is).
without shifting focus, it is not possible to get userinput.

pl note my name is not Ravina,

how do you feel if i call you Peater Shownun?

i feel insulted if you call me by a wrongly spelt name.
