Question How do I check to see if my fuel pump is working? The car was running now it will only run if you shoot strting fluid in it.
Answer Hi Troy,
Sorry for getting back to you so late.
In order to check to see if the fuel pump is working, remove the air cleaner.. put the engine on 'on' and stick a flat-head screw driver in the air cleaner and gently push the flap open.
If you don't hear the fuel pump whirl into gear, you found your culprit.
