Expert: Ron Wolff Date: 7/8/2007 Subject: 73 ASI Riviera
Question Hi Ron, I have a 73 ASI riviera camper bus that I am fixing up and would like to know if parts(canvas)for the top are available somewhere. I was also wondering what you could recommend for heat(I was thinking some kind of small gas furnace like the coleman ones I think they put in some years)? Some one gave me a 76-78 alaskan heater from their old bus but I'm not sure if it works or if it is safe to use and can I still get parts for those? I also think I would like to replace the Norcold fridge with a propane one if possible too. I plan on having a rebuilt 2.0 liter engine with weber carbs and a new transmission put in it too since I plan on hauling a motorcycle behind it. Any suggestions before I venture out on this journey?
