Expert: Ron Wolff Date: 3/21/2007 Subject: 74 VW Autostick
Question Sir,
Hello to you! I need some information please. I bought my wife a 74 VW
convertible that has the autostick. Since I returned from Afghanistan i have
been overhauling the car.
Do you know where I can get a pump for the transmission, the one that has
two functions as the oil pump and tranmission pump?
I also need a new a new convertible top with all the hardware/parts to make a
complete top assembly. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you for your time and patients to answer my email for help sir!

Answer Hi Robert,
You can try Bobs Used VW Parts in Pennsylvania for that oil pump. That is where I got mine. You may have to use google to hunt him down, but I do know he stocks him. In addition, they do show up occasionally on E-Bay.
For your convertible top: check out Chucks Convertible Parts. He will send you a catalogue with every part you can imagine, plus, instructions how to put the new top on. Best of luck!
