Question The Beetle will start and run fine for a while, then if you turn it off it does not want to start. It keeps cranking as if it's not getting spark or fuel (but you can smell the gas). Is this possibly related to a sensor on #3 cylinder? (I don't know what it's called, but I read about it.)
Answer John,
That is most likely the cause, you could have a faulty sensor.
First make sure it is plugged in.
Next, if it is not order a new one at
www.mamotorworks.com/vw
They are about $15.00. Feel free to contact me if you have any difficulties after installing the new one.
