Question DOES IT MAKE SENSE TO TRY AND REPAIR ORIGINAL AC UNIT OR PUT IN NEW SYSTEM. MINE HAS THE COMPRESSOR, BUT THE UNIT UNDER THE FRONT OF THE CAR HAS DETERIORATED TO POWDER.

Answer Hi Michael,
If the system was working ok, aside from the condenser under the front, it may be worth replacing it, and recharging the system.
Otherwise, a replacement system is available at an outfit in Florida called 'Gilmore Enterprises' in Clearwater, Florida.
