Question My rear brake lights stopped working on my 1969 beetle. I checked the fuses and they look good. Is there something else I could check?
Answer Hi Jerry,
If the fuses look ok, look underneath the car at the brake master cylinder. There is a plug there which goes into a switch that controls the 'on-off' operation of the rear brake lights.
It may simply be that this wire has broken or come off.
