Question Sir,
Please instruct me the connection of high tension wire to the spark plug from distributor cap, there are 4 of them, where should I connect each one of them.
Answer Hi James,
You must get a VW book and adjust the engine to TDC (top dead center). Place the rotor in the distributor and align it with the notch that is etched on it's side.
Place the cap over so you can get your bearings...this is where #1 cylinder wire goes.
Going counter-clockwise on the cap (once 1 is on) the wires lead to cylinders 2-3-4.
It's easy, as the cylinders are clearly marked (by the spark plug) "1" "2" "3" "4".
