Question The locking system was working ok until recently when I unlock or lock the car all I hear was the pump in trunk just keeps working and it does not stop. I had to place a dummy plug on the hose connected to it to stop.
And I am using my key to open and close the car manually. But alarm is working fine with no problem.
Can someone help me please with trouble shooting tips ?
Regards
Ramesh
Answer Ramesh;
There is a protective cover over the wires, and vacuum hoses in the hinge area of the drivers door. Pull that protective cover off, and inspect the lines inside it. One of the vacuum lines...hard plastic....has either broken, or has just simply come away from one of the fittings..
Inspect them, and just repair the one that is apart, or broken. Good luck, Ramesh. Hope this helps.
