Subject: Replace a park light bulb in VW passat

Question
HI, any ideas on how to remove the old park light bulb in a vw passat 2001, I can feel the holder moving but still cannot get it out in order to replace it, is there a knack in getting this out.

Thanks, Eilish

Answer
Eilish,
I am not familiar with your vehicle.  However, on the older VW's, you would access the bulb from behind the lens (in the trunk or under the hood).  Grab the bulb holder (black plastic with several wires attached), and give it a quarter turn.  The bulb holder with bulb attached can then be removed.  Hope this helps.  Jerry
