Question
My sons friends mom brought her car over because she had to pump up the brake pedal to get any sort of stopping at all.She said her friend disconnected the booster line at the intake and thats when it started. All those lines off the intake are ok now so I decided to bleed the brakes to see if that would help.I started with drivers side front and got a little air and fluid.I got nothing from the other three and now it is worse than before if thats posible. What do you think?I am at a loss.Does not make sense to me at all. Please advise,She has like no brakes.  Thank you very much   Paul Krupp

Answer
Paul,
I hope you have a repair manual on the VW in question, if not you should refer to one (Bentley is the one I prefer).  There is a method by which you should bleed the master cylinder before you bleed the wheel cylinders.  It is not difficult, but you should use the method described in the manual.  Hope this helps.  Jerry
