Question Hi. I have a VW Beetle Convertible 2003. The L/H rear quarter glass will not come up. All other windows and the top work as normal. What could be wrong? Should I attempt a repair? Do you know where I can buy a workshop manual for this model? Your advise Please. The VW service centre has estimated $2500 to get parts and have it fixed. Thanks. Andrew
Answer Andrew,
I don't have experience with this particular repair, however if it were my car you can bet I would not hesitate to tear into the problem myself, especially if the only other option is a $2500 bill.
I recommend the Bentley manual; I have found these to be the best available. Even at $100, I consider this a great investment if you love and want to keep your car long term. See here:
