Question I need to recharge my wife A/C but I have only done this on my Saab. This is a dumb question but where is the low port on this A/C? on the hose near the left front (near rad.)?
Answer Both service ports are on the right(passenger side) of the engine bay. The suction/low side service port is right in front, near the radiator cover, and the discharge/high side is back further toward the bulkhead, and the expansion valve. Good luck, Ryan. Should be a slam dunk. Just follow the instructions on the package. If performance is marginal after the "one time use kit," then take the car to a licensed air conditioning shop, and have them recover, recycle, and recharge. In as much as the car is between 7, and 8 years old there may be need for "O"-ring replacement, so the charge doesn't escape as fast as you put it in. Thankfully these systems are rather robust, and reliable, but "O"-rings do dry out, and leak. Good luck, Ryan. Hope this is of some assistance.
