Question I purchased a used 1999 cabrio. It does not have the fuse box cover, which I assume has the fuse diagram. I also (like one the previous questions asked) can't find the fuse for the cigarette lighter. It seems difficult to find the area "above the relays" which it where it says the fuse is located in the manual.
Answer Hi Pete;
Yeah, I agree, everything is hard on a Volkswagen. They make it that way, so you have to take it to the dealer...it's a conspiracy! Anyway, get a copy of "Bentley's repair manual," and look in there. They have some nice diagrams, and they list fuse placement, and value in Amps. Good luck, Pete.
