Question Do Volkswagens cost more to fix (talking about any type of repair) than other cars such as Toyota or Honda?
Answer Hi Cathy:
Not really. There may be some items that do cast more, but then there will be other items that will cost less, too. If you are considering any, or all of these brands as used cars...do yourself a big favor, and buy a "certified used car." All of these brands offer them, and they are all covered by an extended warranty supported by the factory itself, so the extra cost of the car is usually less than buying a comparable used car with an optional aftermarket service contract, or warranty. No matter what however, whichever car you buy, and no matter what the brand, get an extended, or aftermarket warranty, they pay for themselves in most cases, and they provide a little extra peace of mind, when you purchase used.
