Question I'm a junior in High School and I've been playing volleyball since Junior High School. Sophomore year I played on JV, then I played for a GEVA (Garden Empire Volleyball Association) club team and I played Varsity this year. I still play for the club. I can play Libero or hit outside. However, I'm 5'3".
Do you think there might be a Division 1 spot for me in college?
Answer Kseniya,
I would say that your chances of playing outside at the Division I level are very slim but you could make the team as a libero. You have to be a great serve receiver and a bulldog defender. If you have these two qualities you will be seen at one of your tournaments.
