The Picture!
The picture that you see is my team after winning the 52-team Capitol Hill Classic in February 2008 in Washington DC. We were the only undefeated team in the 15's division. However, they presented our awards to the team that won the SILVER division! haha So the tournament directors had to reorder our medals and our player's MVP trophy, then mail them all to us later!

Question
Do you know in Tampa, Florida, a place where my son can take volleyball classes?

Answer
Good morning!

Thank you for visiting www.allexperts.com.

You've asked a very tough question for me b/c I've never lived in Florida, plus most regions in the country don't offer boy's vball at all, PLUS finding volleyball "classes" is also challenging.

This is my advice.

(a) go to this website.  http://www.usavfl.org.  This is the Florida region of USAV.  For those who don't know, USAV are the people who run Junior Nationals, junior vball throughout the country, and even the training & selection of the USA National indoor teams.........who just won medals in Beijing.

(b) do an internet search for volleyball training in Tampa, or volleyball lessons in Tampa, etc.  Keep searching, using different combinations of words.  Maybe even delete the word "Tampa".  I recommend you not add the phrase "boys," b/c the word "boy" may not be part of the website you're searching for. I offer private lessons, and if someone searched for boys lessons in Roanoke, my site wouldn't show up.

(c) contact the local high schools and leave messages for the coaches are whether boys can attend their off-season open gyms.  Contact the local rec centers and Y's to see if they offer lessons, camps, or leagues for boys.

I wish I could be more help.  If you have some time, please visit me at www.coachhouser.com.  I think you'll love the smiling faces!  :)
