Volleyball/Lack of skill makes us want to move down to a lower/weaker club team

great response (of course!).    As a coach and a parent, I can emphathize.  HOWEVER, the #1 question that I've used as a parent, and that I sincerely appreciate being asked from my athlete's parents on teams that I coach, is "what can Suzy do to improve and thereby CONTRIBUTE more to THE TEAM?".   Of ccourse, you want your daughter playing more, THIS is HOW you ask THAT question.  Get private lessons, go to open gym hours that you can find at many gyms/courts, etc.  In short, take INITIATIVE to improve on your own.  Think of it this way - if you put a mule in a pasture with racehorses, you'll soon get a mule that thinks he's a racehorse, and acts like one.  You can't help but improve on a higher level playing team.  I've seen it time and time again.

I don't get a notification when someone responds....I LIKE your response!  Maybe you should be the expert, and you should be answering questions!

I hope that it's a great week!

Thanks for chipping in!
