Question
if the player slightly touches the net with their hand is it called  a net fault

Answer
luiggi

Sorry you didn't get my answer but here it is again.

If you are asking me if you slightly touch the net is is a violation the answer is yes.  It does not matter how hard you touch it just that you did touch it.

If you are asking me is it called a net fault I am not sure.  Different parts of the country call things differentially.  If the touch occurs while blocking it is a blocking error.  If it happens any other time we call it a net violation.  I have never heard of the term net fault.... but that does not mean there isn't such a term.

I hope I helped.

Steve
