Question Hi, My 97 850 Volvo wagon is running well except the check engine light is on and a diagnostic test showed that there's a secondary air exchange malfunction. I know it's a tough question ... but can you estimate a ballpark to fix it? I'm trying to sell the car and don't have time to deal with the repair right now. Thanks!
Answer Hello Sarah! There are a few components to the system. There is an air pump, a relay, solonoid and a check valve. If all the parts are bad, you can be in for aroun $750. Of course, this number depends on what exactly is wrong and can vary from shop to shop. I hope this helps you.
