Question Hello,
I recently purchased my first Volvo. The 2001 S60 is a perfect size for my commute. The only problem is the drivers side power seat will only move for a few seconds and then it stops responding. It seems to have a full range of motion, when it works. I have to wait a few hours before I can finish adjusting the seat to a comfortable position. The dealer did not know what it could be and could only suggest a few hours of shop time to figure it out. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Answer Marcus,
All you do is let them get into the seat read any fault codes and allow the seats control unit to be reprogrammed. The dealer seems to be telling you a few hours of time is what they will charge. Ask them if you pay the few hours will that help it or can it be fixed.
