Question I recently replaced my batteries in my 2000 s 80. All elecrical components came back on except for my heat and ac part of the middle console.also no lights on the shifter,P,D,N,R,1,2,3. What can i do to remedy this prblem. I have already tryed the key in the drivers side door to reprogram the system,but no luck. Have been told it may be a module gone bad. I've also been told this part is very $$$$$$$$$. thanks William....

Disconnect the battery and hold the two leads together for a couple of minutes. Make sure that all the power is off key out of car. If that will not work then you need to visit the dealer so they can read any fault codes, and possibly reprogram the control units as needed..
