Question
We have over 82k miles on this car which has been a wonderful 1st owner experience.  I know the timing belt will need to be changed at some point.  What is the recommended mileage for the LPT engine?  I am confused if it is a 2.3 or a 2.4L engine.  Either way, we are trying to plan ahead.  Thank you for your help.

Answer
Matt,
All the gas engines in the U.S. should have the same belt replacement and that is 105K.
You might check you service book. I will assume that you have the low pressure turbo, that is why the LPT engine. Send me the VIN and I will tell you what engine you have.
