Question I don't know how to use the cruise control on my '96 850T wagon (no manual) -- ie, how do I turn it on/off, set speed, etc. thanks for your help! Ruth
Answer Ruth,
The switch has an on, off, resume and set button. Get out on the hwy. set the switch to on go 60 mph push the set button it will take a moment to catch and should hold at 60. If on the switch it has a plus and minus sign push and release either and the speed should vary by about 3 mph. If you continue to hold the plus or minus the speed will continue to vary without stopping until the button is released. While cruising hit the brake to turn off the cruise let the speed drop to say 45 or 50 and then press resume. That will bring you back to 60 mph
