Subject: Volvo 960 High Speed Hesitation

Question
My 1996 Volvo 960 drives well until I reach a speed of exactly 60 mph, at which point it starts to "buck".  Basically, the car starts to jerk back and forth violently.  Was told this could be a problem with the oxygen sensor?? Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Answer
Molly,
You need the help of a Volvo tech. Your car will need to be driven and then start the diagnostic tests. It might be the trans going in/out of 4th gear, clogged filters, low fuel pressure. The process will start with a tech driving the car and then he makes his best diagnosis's and look into it. One step at a time. Sorry no short answer.
