Question The check engine light turned on twice while waiting on a traffic light. AC was turned off. But there was no error code, so the mechanic just reset it. Do you have an idea where it might come from? Sometimes the car drives a little rough when driving uphill with 55mph, otherwise it runs fine.

No real idea, I follow the codes and if there are none, not much can be done. Drive and keep track of how the car runs and drives. If you have further symptoms arrange to drop you car at the shop for a few days so your tech can test drive it. Explain to the tech what it does and how to drive it so they can duplicate the problems.
