A car with 280K is high mileage. The price seems a bit high also. However if you have had the car inspected and see the vehicle is in good operating condition then it could be a good deal. With the year and mileage the car could have had a lot of things replaced and will be road ready when you buy it. Have a Volvo shop inspect the car and make you a list as to what they see will need attention and what things have been done. That will also be a good bargaining tool if there are things that need attention right away.
