Hello,
My '94 non-turbo 940 Volvo's blower motor is inconsistently blowing.  It will
blow and then almost stop and then blow, then almost stop ect. It is not just
when the a/c is on, but on all settings.  It does not appear to be related to
acceleration or deceleration of the car.  I can not tell if the vents are changing
without changing the knob or if the speed of the fan/blower is just changing.
Is this a vacuum leak?  My car has 201k and is overall running strong!

Marc,
You problem will require some time to take off the lower panels and run the blower motor drive the car switch the settings. Most of the problems I see are either a bad motor or on acceleration the vents shut off and stops the air flow, not the motor.
