Question Hi I have a VOLVO 940GL 1991, AND RECENTLY A RED LIGHT HAS
COME ON , ON THE DASH, LOOKS LIKE AN EXCLAMATION MARK IN A

It sounds like a bulb out warning. The warning light comes on in the event of broken lead, poor contact or a broken or faulty bulb.
The bulb failure light may be set differently for different markets.
The following bulbs may be included:
low beam.
rear parking lights.
brake lights, the warning light comes on when the brake pedal is depressed.
The bulb failure sensor grounds a lead on the instrument panel and the light comes on when the reference voltage in the sensors monitoring unit alters.
