brake system overhaul, a complete drivetrain changeout, various misc mechanical and

there is a recall on the airflow meter for volvos. This is the common symptom. This can also lead to other issues, such as AC compressor shutting on and off in short cycles, causing you to blow the AC compressor. This was my experience. A temp fix is to clean the throtle body intake.
