Question I would like to buy this car from a friend. It is in very good condition from a
trustworthy source. 90,000 miles asking $7500. BUT I am also told to stay
away from the 1998-2000 model years. I'd rather buy a volvo from a friend
than turn up at a used car lot with this buget. Should I nonetheless walk
away from any 1999 volvo? Thanks!
Answer Anne, you will thank me later. STAY AWAY from anything All wheel drive. You are asking for lots of things to break and cost lots of money to repair. If you want to buy a Volvo Wagon get a non all-wheel drive V70. Also stay away from any S80 model. Hope this helped. Roger
