Check your fuel pressure.

Often off-idle stumbles can be caused by a clogged fuel filter or inadequate fuel pump.

The fuel pressure test may show fine during idle conditions, but may show low fuel pressure when more fuel is demanded.

I have read several thread as I am experiencing the same condition with my 2003 Volvo S80 T6. If I am easy into the throttle, less than 1/4, it goes like a bat out of H3ll, and if I am full on, push the pedal to the rug, it goes too, but not much more. Now, if I depress the pedal 1/2 way, I get a stumble, like the ignition was turned off, for about 1 to 3 seconds, then it picks up and presses me back into the seat...

Strange, I know. Thinking it is NOT the fuel filter, as harsh acceleration is slightly more than 1/4 throttle, but 1/2 dies out. The fuel pump is more likely the culprit here.

Let me know if anyone thinks differently.
