Question
I just bought this car and it states in the car fax that the timing belt and water pump were just replaced but it is leaking bad what would be the eisiest way to remove water pump and put new gasket on and what precautions should I take before trying this job myself

Answer
Troy to be quite honest, I recommend this job to a volvo shop.  The timing belt job on this car is not a fun one and the cams like to jump when you are doing the belt.  If you mess up and are not paying attention to the marks, you are asking for trouble.  Who ever did the belt and pump probably did not clean the surface properly.  Like I said, I would let a Volvo shop do this.  Roger
