Question
I have three questions regarding some problems I'm having with my 1998 Volvo S70. It has 200,000 miles> My first problem is that it's either leaking oil or burning oil cause I have to put oil in it on a monthly basis (3-4 quarts). Sencondly, I have to put brake fluid in it every 4-5 days. I can't dee any leaks by by wheels or anywhere else. My third problem is My A/C just rotates from floor to vent to defrost constantly and never stops. Normally all vent are open at the same time and it's driving me crazy> I don't know if it's the control or what> please help. I truly appreciate it.

Answer
Carlton, a 200,000 mile S70 will burn through oil.  The repair is a complete valve job.  Brake fluid is most likely the master cylinder or a piston on the caliper.  The only way you could see it is if you take the pads out to inspect.  Lastly, it does sound like a control head issue.  Roger
