Question I had a wonderful tape (Bounced Checks) that had Tom Waits singing "The Piano Has Been Drinking" with a 'Drunk's Prayer' included and I can't find that song ANYWHERE now. (My evil ex took the tape but I took his heart so we're almost even) I thought it was 'an evening w/ Pete King' version but alas, not that I can find. Please, I loved that song.
Answer Hi there Jules, sorry I waited a day to answer this one- I like to answer right away but I tried looking into in a little harder cuz I gotta tell you I don't know where else to find the drunk's prayer- the SONG however, the Piano Has Been Drinking, is on the CD "Small Change", released in 1976. It's just a normal release CD, so you should have no trouble finding it. If you're really looking for The Drunk's Prayer, though, I can't help. :( sorry- but you can always threaten the ex bf for your tape's return! Muahaha! At least that's what I'd do.... ::cough:: anyways...
