About Shannan
Expertise
I can answer just about any questions pertaining to Walker, Texas Ranger. However, I am not very good with guest star names, but I may be able to help. I am especially knowledgeable on aspects of Walker`s and Alex`s relationship.

Experience
I have been a dedicated viewer and fan, and I continue to catch Walker in reruns. I also have the final season on DVD and I am anxiously awaiting the rest.

Question
Was the character of CD written off of the show when, Noble Winningham left the show, or was the character replaced by a look a like?  I know someone who is claiming
that he has acted on the show and is friends with Chuck Norris and collecting royalty checks.  He has told me that
Chuck met him in a Restaurant in Texas and hired him to replace Noble when he became ill, but his name would NEVER go on the credits.  He does bear an uncanny resemblence to CD.  Could this be true? Thanks

Answer
NO, the character of C.D. Parker was only played be 2 men in the entire run of the show.  The first, I can't remember his name right now, was only in the pilot episode.  Noble Willingham played the role of C.D. Parker for the rest of the series.  He left the show to pursue a political career, not because he was ill.  They frequently mentioned him on the show while he was away, but couldn't show his picture because of fairness in politics and TV time, or something like that.  After he lost whatever political position he was going for, and maybe even after his real death, they did a sort of tribute to him on the show. It was in the series finale.  If your friend truly did act on the show, it was most likely he was an extra, or something along those lines, especially if his name never appeared in the credits.  I hope this helped!
