Question In the latest 2 hour special, I noticed that the characters Sydney and her partner were not there. Can you tell me what happened? I missed the first few minutes, so it may have been explained. Why did they kill off C.D. McCall? Finally, why did they have Alex shot? Is there going to be another movie explaining if she died or not?
Answer Sorry it has taken so long to respond. The Holiday Season can be so busy. I am not for sure why Sydney was not in the movie, but her partner, Gage, was. I don't remember a character named C.D. McCall, I think you might be referring to C.D. Parker, the retired Texas Ranger who owned C.D.'s Bar and Grill, where the cast hung out alot. Well, they killed him off because he was running for some political office (Maybe a Congressional Seat, I forget), in real life and he needed to concentrate on that. The actor Noble Willingham (C.D.) has passed away, but I can't remember the exact date right now. As for Alex being shot, I'm not really sure why they did that. Speculation is that they did it to set up for the next movie. However, there has been no news of one coming. If you want another movie, write to CBS and let them know, I have.
