Experience I have been a dedicated viewer and fan, and I continue to catch Walker in reruns. I also have the final season on DVD and I am anxiously awaiting the rest.
Answer I'm not really sure what you are asking about season 8, but here's what I know....Season 8 aired on TV back in 1999 and 2000 (or 2000 and 2001, depending on how you like to count the first three episodes. For now, we'll say the first three episodes are season 1.) The season 8 DVDs are not going to be released for a while, since they just released season 3 back in June. I'm hoping (although I am in no way affiliated, so don't quote me on this) that season 4 will come out sometime around Christmas, but who knows. And if we go by previous precedence (again, I'm not affiliated...), then we may have season 8 on DVD around Christmas of 2009, but that's just by my thinking! They have released the Final Season (for me season 9) on DVD. They did the Final, first to see how it did.
