Kimberly Carroll Expertise I have been a huge fan of The Wallflowers from the very beginning. I have been known to annoy my friends because sometimes I just can`t shut up about them! I work in a record store so I am also knowledgeable about many other bands and artists, but The Wallflowers are my absolute favorite. I would love to answer any questions you have about them!
Question i was just wondering if you knew anything about what happened to the band? i mean are they still together? will they have a new cd come out? i miss them. let me know what`s up
Answer Hi Jessica,
Although nothing is official, the new album is supposed to be out this May. I miss them too, I feel like I've been waiting forever! They are still together, in fact they were in New York the last week in March for a photo shoot. I don't know for what, but hopefully we'll be seeing those pictures soon! I also just read that Matt Chamberlain (who played drums on Bringing Down the Horse) also played drums for the recording of the new album because Mario was busy with other projects which included touring with Liz Phair for a little while last year. Mario is still in the band though and we can expect to see him behind the kit when they tour, supposedly this summer.
