About Patrick Carr
Expertise
I am most adept at answering questions concerning travel arrangements and planning for visits to Walt Disney World. From how to get the best price on hotels, to when to visit the parks and on what day, my expertise lies in these areas. I have helped to plan trips for hundreds of people over the last 15 years. In my area, I`m known as the "Disney Guy" who can make your magical wishes come true with proper planning!

Experience
I travel to WDW at least 4 times per year, and that's not easy from Northwest Arkansas! Making this many trips per year, and on a budget that doesn't break the bank makes me an excellent choice to field questions concerning all things related to the Disney parks and vacations.

Question
Hi - we're flying over from Scotland, UK on 1st July, on what will be my husband and my 5th trip to WDW! We're staying in a villa in Kissimmee and have bought 21 day ultimate Disney admission tickets. We're parents to two wonderful sons, a 9 year old and 5 year old. Having done the 'Disney' experience several times, we're fairly au fait re what to see/do, but we'd really appreciate any help you can give us re what parks are busier on what days? Also, any information on new rides since our last trip in '05 - we're not into rollercoasters, we like to be a family in the parks. Many thanks, Frances (ps - only 9 sleeps to go......... :-D !!!)

Answer
Congratulations on another upcoming trip to WDW!  When you have been before, it really helps in the planning phase of the trip.

In planning on which parks are busier on which days, it all depends on which days WDW has early opening (i.e. Extra Hour of Magic) for resort guests.  Here is what I was able to find on the WDW website on early entry days . . .

Magic Kingdom: No Early Entry on July 4, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21 & 23 so those are good MK days!

Epcot: No Early Entry on July 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21 & 23 so those are good Epcot days!

Disney Studios: No Early Entry on July 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20 & 22 so those are good Disney Hollywood Studio days!

Animal Kingdom: No Early Entry on July 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 20 & 22 so those are good Animal Kingdom days!

There are some new things since your last trip.  I would recommend visiting Epcot and seeing Mission:Space as well as Soarin'.  Both are fantastic attractions.  There is also a new stunt show at the Disney Studios and a new coaster at Animal Kingdom, Expedition Himilaya.  All of these are fantastic attractions, as well as some of the new shows such as Finding Nemo.

Have a great trip!!!
