Question My wife, my son, and i are planning a vacation in Orlando either from november 5th until the 14th or december 10th until the 19th. How are the parks at these two times of the year. How packed are they? my cousin said the week before kids get out of school for x-mas vacation is the best time, the parks are empty. is this true?
Answer Both of those weeks are relatively uncrowded, with the December dates a bit less crowded, due to the fact that that week in November is the week of the New Jersey Teachers Conference, resulting in many New Jerseyans taking that week as vacation and visiting Walt Disney World with their children. However, it isn't that big of a difference: We'll be taking two children to Walt Disney World that week ourselves and expect to have a great time.
However, there is one other advantage to the December dates: All the Christmas decorations will be up.
