About Sue Holland
Expertise
I can answer just about anything relating to the Florida Disney parks - including the resorts & Downtown Disney. As a Disney Vacation Club member, I`m very familiar with that program as well. I love the resorts as much as the theme parks - especially the attention to detail and the friendly service provided

Subject: Snacks in the park

Question
I am getting mixed information regarding bringing snacks,  peanut butter sandwhiches and cheese and crackers into the park.  I'm only planning on bringing a small back pack with these items and water bottles.  Can you answer this?  Thanks, Adrienne

Answer
Hi Adrienne,

You won't have any trouble bringing a small backpack with those items into the park.  You will have to open it up at the security checkpoint so they can verify you have no glass or alcohol.  Years ago they used to not allow any food into the parks, but they've relaxed on that for many years now.
