AboutSara Expertise I can answer questions on most things to do with Walt Disney World - the resorts, the 4 major parks, the restaurants and the Disney Cruise Line.
Experience I have stayed at or been to 90% of the resorts, ridden virtually every ride, eaten at many restaurants - both sit-down and counter service and cruised on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. I have traveled to Walt Disney World over 10 times and plan vacations for myself as well as friends and family every year.

Question Hi I have heard that october isn't crowded but on the disney world website this is not one of their highlighted times to go. Why is that? Would it be better to go october 25th and 26th or the end of september?
Answer Hi,
While October used to be slow season, this is no longer the case. October 11 & 12 this year is Columbus Day weekend so expect higher crowds. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot's Food & Wine Festival are huge successes for Disney and has made October one of Disney's more popular months. The best time to visit would be the end of September or the beginning of November. If you have to go on a weekend in October, I would recommend October 18 & 19. This is the only weekend in October that does not have a "race" associated with it:
Susan G. Komen Central Florida Race for the Cure - October 5
Disney's Race for the Taste 10K - October 12
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 15K - October 25
