I can answer just about anything relating to the Florida Disney parks - including the resorts & Downtown Disney. As a Disney Vacation Club member, I`m very familiar with that program as well. I love the resorts as much as the theme parks - especially the attention to detail and the friendly service provided

Question
great concept on disney's part. i feel disney should provide more options than they do ex: put back the appetizer and the gratuities. at least let you have the optionof purchasing it. also an idea trade off quick meals for an appetizer. i am a vacation club member since 94 i frequent disney quite often              thank you
                                        have a great day

Answer
Hi Bob,

I totally agree with you that it would be nice to have the choice of an appetizer or dessert.  A couple could then share and appetizer & dessert, and have their own entrees.  I don't know of any families who will each eat a whole dessert - and there's probably none that should anyway!

You do have the option of buying whatever you want in addition to what the plan covers.  Some people do order an appetizer, and it's put on a separate check for them to pay at the end of the meal.  It works the same way if you order any alcoholic beverage or any other uncovered item.

You've been a vacation club member longer than me - I joined in 1997 and have never regretted it!
