Walt Disney World - cinderella castle

Expert: Tim Sanborn - 8/19/2008

Question
How do you make reservations to eat dinner at the cinderella castle or is it at the cinderella table? Does it cost extra and do you have to have a certain resort package to do this? This also applies to the character breakfast- is that only at certain resorts?

Answer
Hello Shannon,

There is a restaurant inside Cinderella's Castle at Magic Kingdom.  This restaurant is called Cinderella's Royal Table.  They have many tables, so there are lots of families dining at the same time.  Any guest can book this restaurant, but paid admission is required into Magic Kingdom to eat at this restaurant.  You can stay at a Disney Resort, with family, or at an off site hotel and dine at Cinderella's Royal Table.

This restaurant does book up very early.  You can start booking this restaurant 180 days prior to your requested meal date.  The breakfast almost books up within 30 minutes of the opening at 7 AM.  Lunch and dinner usually have a little more availability, but still needs to be booked about 3-4 months before your trip.  You can call 407-WDW-DINE to book this reservation.  Disney does require payment in full at the time of booking this reservation.  If you are staying at Disney and are on the Dining Plan, Disney just requires a credit card guarantee.  This is a fun restaurant just because you are eating inside Cinderella's Castle!

Have fun planning your Disney World vacation.
