Question I am going to need to rent a wheelchair at Disney World in Orlando for our upcoming visit. It that possible? Do they rent strollers? How much do they charge for each? Do you know of a website where I can gain necessary info such as this? Thanks for answering my questions.
Answer Hello Christy,
You can certainly rent a wheelchair, electric scooter and even strollers at the Disney Theme Parks. The wheelchair rentals are $10 per day, the electric scooters rentals are $45 per day, and the strollers rentals are $15 for a single and $31 for a double per day. You can save some money by booking your rentals for the whole vacation on the 1st day of your rental.
Just so you know, some of the parks have brand new strollers and they are much smaller than the older ones. My 3 year old was too big for the single stroller at Magic Kingdom. The Disney Cast Member at the stroller rentals told us the weight limit is 25 lbs. for the single stroller and 40 lbs. total for the double stroller.
