Walt Disney World - 10 year anniversary

Expert: Ron Murdza - 9/13/2009

Question
Thanks in advance for any advice! My wife and I are going to W.D.W. for our 10 year anniversary in the beginning of December. I think that we want to stay at Carribean Beach, but need a good building location for access to bus, food etc. Also, I heard that it might be beneficial to buy 1 annual pass to get discounts on rooms, tickets, etc. The problem is that we are in California. Do you have any thoughts or ideas for our special vacation without the kids?  We'll be there for 8 days.

Answer
I am not to sure on building locations for the Caribbean Beach as I have never stayed there but for that question you may want to consider my forum at www.disney-forums.com as there are a lot of other experts there - as far as the AP in my experience I have always found that if you go for 8 days or more it is more beneficial to obtain an AP - check www.mousesavers.com as they usually list available discounts for AP holders - 1 year we went we got APs and the discount was almost $100 night and we went for 8 nights so we saved $800 which was actually more than what the passes cost that year - then if you go back you can plan your next trip a week early the following year and get another use out of your AP
