We are starting a project to set some metrics into the warehouse.

Which ones are the more common and useful key performance indicators for a distribution center?

Answer
Hi, In a DC you can measure:


SERVICE LEVEL
- line item fill rate
- order fill rate

PRODUCTIVITY
- number of SKUs picked per hour


QUALITY
- scrap rate

INVENTORY ACCURACY
- Inventory accuracy

SPACE
- % of space occupied vs. % accessibility
